v

v'- Class-marking prefix for a singular noun in the fb:V class. Nouns in this class are inanimate objects of small-medium size, usually long and fairly thin, like a stick, finger or pipe. Plurals of V class nouns use the fv:s' class-marker. The class-marker V should not be confused with the pronoun fv:v or fv:qv which is written without an apostrophe and replaces a noun. ######## When an entry has a class-marker it is written in italic writing. Class-markers may move to the end of a word in a sentence. The class-marker is not included in the way entries are ordered. For example, the word fi:v'fv:kwxmbx (fishing hook) is found between the words fv:kwxlxji and fv:kwxmbxxm, and the word fi:v'fv:hwen (length of rope) is found between the words fi:d'fv:hwen and fv:hwendo.
