clean / cleanseThe idea of clean means to be pure from dirt or stain. The cleaning process was not just for the outside but for all parts of the vessel. DTP Jesus challenges the leaders of His day because, while they were clean on the outside, they were like filthy rags on the inside (Matt 23:25). Jesus looks at the disciple's heart and He wants it to be washed pure in the blood of the Lamb.
