Introduction

The Finongan language is spoken by 1500 people living in Papua New Guinea. This is the first attempt to compile a bilingual dictionary for the Finongan language. The words and example sentences were collected over 15 years. A preliminary print copy of the dictionary was published in 2016. There is still much work to do, but we, the compilers, have decided to publish this work-in-progress in order to document the work we have done so far. Our ambition is to publish early and often. Updates after 2016 are considered draft quality.
