The English-Fulfulde side is very simple. Under the listing of one (or occasionally two or three) English word(s) is a listing of the Fulfulde words, and their alternate spellings, that correspond, or roughly correspond, to that English word. Which sub-dialects use which Fulfulde word (and which alternate spelling) is clearly delineated. For checking the spelling of a Fulfulde word, it is usually easier to look up the word on the English side.

The English side also gives one a bird’s eye view of the vocabulary possibilities for a given word. As with any multilanguage dictionary, it is best to look at the full definitions of the words listed on the Fulfulde-English side in order to get a more accurate idea of the full range of meaning for a given word.
