When trying to identify specific generations of ancestors, the oldest generation is referred to as /allil/. The term /allil/ is for the oldest ancestor someone can think of--not someone s/he personally knows, but an ancestor that can be placed in a specific time or place. The genereation after that is referred to as /alzeix/; the generation after that is a person's great, great grandparent and that generation is referred to as /alper/; great grandparents are called /almar/.
