L’ATAPEB (Association of Translators and Literacy Specialists for the promotion of Bible Translation) would like to express appreciation to Miss Sylvia Foulds and Miss Jann Russell of SIL Togo-Benin who invested much time over a period of 20 ans collecting words and phrases for this lexicon.  We are thankful for their initiative in this work, as well as their patience and courage to bring this work to reality.

Mr. Bedouma Joseph Koabike did foundational work by writing definitions and example sentences for the dictionary as well as giving helpful comments for improving the annexes.

We appreciate the early work of Mrs. Sarah Prestwich (née Forsey) who was responsible for the initial database and inputing the data onto computer; this was a significant accomplishment which launched the project in 1999 with the publication of the first document in limited edition.

We would like to give credit to the many Moba speakers who have read through the first dictionary printed and gave their suggestions for corrections as well as additions which helped to expand the dictionary to its current volume.

We would also like to thank the following people for their involvement in the newest version of the dictionary:

* Pouguinipo Victor Kondjan for the basic vocubulary regarding moba kinship.

* Mr. Wandjog Daba, Mr. Arzuma Klouyane, Mr. Dambé Koanangue, Mr. Kanléape Caleb Kombate, Mr. Minpanme Joel Kombate, Pasteur Yendoukoi Pouguini, Mr. Soaka Sambiani, Mr. Nougandame Singre, Mr. Tatouba Yenlide Jean-Baptiste for their suggestions of many basic terms.

* Mr. Monyabith Banlame who checked medical terms.

* Mr. Dantote David Dantchele, Mr. Tchimbiandja Boniface Djangbiagou for reading the preliminary version.

* Dr. Laré Pierre Kantchoa for his encouragement after having the final version in its entirety, making several suggestions for improvement.

* Dr. Brigitte Nédellec who read the last version of the annexes, making helpful suggestions.

* Dr Jacques and Mrs. Marie-Claire Nicole for their helpful comments on some of the annexes.

* Mr. David Rowe, Mr. Carl Williams, Mr. Ayite Bonaventure, et ESSE Eric for their technical assistance in IT issues.

We would be negligent if we failed to mention the many people who, over the years, responded to our unending inquiries regarding the content of the dictionary, and who encouraged us in this enormous task.

Among the many people whose help we are very grateful for, we would like to mention specifically:

M. Douth Yobli Daniel Kankpe Kombath, Mr. Kanlanfei Kpiagou, Mr. Nanague Nassane, Mr. Douti Paul Tilate and Madam Damban Tiem who were responsable for the initial inputing of vocabulary on computer, a comprehensive task that began in 1999 with the publication of the preliminary Moba dictionary in a limited edition.
