You can download an Android app version of the dictionary on your Android smart phone or tablet for use when you have no internet connection:

Instructions for installation:

How to allow the phone to install the app is different on different devices, depending on your Android version. Try one of the following:

  1. Go to settings on your Android phone or tablet. Depending on your Android version, go to Security or to Lock screen and security. From this menu, tick the box or toggle the switch next to Unknown sources, then press OK on the popup. Then click on the link above (Samburu_Dictionary-1.0) using your Android phone or tablet to install the app.
  2. Click on the link above (Samburu_Dictionary-1.0). When your phone or tablet asks you to give permission to install the app from this source, click Yes.
  3. Click on the link above (Samburu_Dictionary-1.0) and download the app to your phone. Go to My files and then to Downloads. Click on the downloaded dictionary file and when the phone or tablet asks for permission to install the app, click Yes.

If the phone or tablet asks you to unpack the files, you need to download a separate apk installer from the Google Play Store.
