Introduction

The Takwane language is spoken by 250,000 people living in Western Zambezia province of Mozambique. This is smaller compilation a trilingual dictionary for the Takwane language. It is an extraction of a larger database that is based on "Central African  Word List" (CAWL) of about 2,000 words that is used for the comparison of languages across sub-Saharan Africa. There is still much work to do, but we, the compilers have decided to publish this work-in-progress, in order to document the work we have done so far. Our ambition is to publish early and often.
