Introduction

 

The Aramba language [stk] of Papua New Guinea is sometimes referred to Serki, Serkisetavi or Upper Morehead. There are approximately 970 people living in the Western province: Morehead subprovince, southwest of Suki.

The linguistic classification is South-Central Papuan, Morehead-Upper Maro, Tonda.

They have some community schools and literature has been produced in the Aramba.
