PHILIPPIANS, book ofThis book is a very personal letter from Paul to the Philippian church. This was the first church (in Macedonia - modern day Europe) that Paul had planted; it consisted of mainly Gentile believers. The main emphasis of this letter is "joy" or "rejoicing, these words are used 16 times. Paul taught on many different doctrines such as the person and work of Christ, justification by faith, and about the second coming of Christ. It was written around AD 61 from a Roman prison.
