BeatitudesMatt 5:3-11 list the beatitudes, ways of thinking, teaching of Jesus, proper attitudes for living (see the word attitude). A short statement communicating God's approval and blessing on how we should deal with things in our Christian walk. These verses tend to start off with the word "blessed". There are more Beatitudes found in Luke 6:20-22; Rev 1:3; 16:15; 19:9; 20:6; 22:7; 22:14 plus several other places throughout the New Testament.
