mark of the beastThis is a symbol that will be placed on humans in the last days, identifying them as to who they are, and to whom they have pledged allegiance; the mark will allow them to buy and sell. It is thought that this mark will contain the numbers "666". "This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666." (Rev 13:18 NIV). We are told that it will be placed on the head and right hand of the unbeliever.
