persuade / persuadedTo cause someone to do something through reasoning or argument. To plead, to earnestly call out with the hope that others may change their minds or change their ways. DTP Disciples are to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the hope that people will be persuaded to make a personal decision to follow Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. We share with others, but the Holy Spirit must do the stirring of the heart; it is up to people to use their free choice to turn from the world of sin and to Christ.
