Great CommissionThis was a commandment given by Christ to the disciples to go into the entire world to make disciples; Christ wants the believer to produce fruit from their lives that will glorify Him. The making of disciples requires a personal commitment to Christ as Saviour and Lord, a testimony of commitment through baptism, and the continued process of growing through the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. As we mature, we will produce eternal fruit for His glory. (See Matt 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-18.)
