contriteနှလုံးကြေကွဲThis is dealing with the inward heart and feelings of man towards God. It can mean sorry, remorseful, repentant, regretful, penitent or ashamed. DTP Often it is linked with how man sees his sin through the eyes of Christ Jesus. Man must come before God with a pure heart and we must confess our sin if we hope to have forgiveness of our sins (Rom 10:9-10). လူတစ်ဦး၏ဘုရားသခင်အပေါ် အတွင်းနှလုံးသားနှင့်စိတ်ခံစားမှုဆိုင်ရာဖြစ်သည်။ စိတ်မကောင်းဖြစ် ခြင်း၊ နောင်တကြီးစွာရခြင်း၊ နောင်တရခြင်း၊ ပူဆွေးဝမ်းနည်းခြင်း၊ ရှက်ရွံ့ခြင်း။ ခရစ်တော်ယေရှု၏ မျက်လုံးများဖြင့် မိမိ၏အပြစ်ကိုပြန်လည်မြင်တွေ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ လူသည် ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့တော်သို့ စင် ကြယ်သောနှလုံးသားဖြင့်ဝင်ရောက်ပြီး မိမိအပြစ်များကိုဖြေလွှတ်စေလိုလျှင် မိမိအပြစ်များကိုဝန်ချ တောင်း ပန်ရမည်ဖြစ်သည် (ရော၊ ၁၀:၉-၁၀)။ နောင်တရှိ၍ စိတ်နှိမ့်ချ (contrite) သောသူတို့ကိုလည်း ကယ်တင်တော်မူ၏။... ဆာ၊ ၃၄:၁၈ - Ps 34:18ကျိုးပဲ့ကြေမွ (contrite) သောနှလုံးကို ငြင်းပယ်တော်မမူတတ်ပါ။ ... ဆာ၊ ၅၁:၁၇ - Ps 51:17စိတ်နှိမ့်ချသောသူနှင့်၊ နှလုံးကြေကွဲ (contrite) သောသူတို့၏စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၊ ... ဟေရှာ၊ ၅၇:၁၅ - Isa 57:15နှလုံးကြေကွဲ (contrite) ခြင်း၊ ငါ့စကားကြောင့်တုန်လှုပ်ခြင်းရှိသောသူကိုသာ... ဟေရှာ၊ ၆၆:၂ - Isa 66:2
