inheritTo receive something from someone who's gone before, the leaving of a legacy; something being passed on from one generation to another; the Kingdom of Heaven will be our inheritance from Christ, because we are His children and family. DTP We as disciples become joint heirs with Jesus and, because of Christ's death and resurrection we become children of God and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ.
