bastardမျောက်မထား၍ရသောသားThis name or title that represented a child who was born out of wedlock (most often used in the KJB). The parents were not officially married and in the eyes of the law this child had no claim to any heritage of the father and did not receive the same treatment as a child of wedded parents; they could not be recognized as a son or daughter. The word "illegitimate child" is used also used in some translations. ဤစကားလုံးမှာ မိဘနှစ်ပါးအိမ်ထောင်မပြုဘဲမွေးလာသောသားသမီးကို ဆိုလိုသည်။ မိဘတို့မှာ တရား ဝင်လက်မထပ်သဖြင့် မွေးလာသောသားသမီးသည် ဖခင်၏အမွေကိုမခံရဟု ပညတ်တော်ရှိသည်။ လက် ထပ်သောမိဘမှမွေးဖွားလာသောသားသမီးများကဲ့သို့ အခွင့်အရေးမရနိုင်ပါ။ သားသမီးဟုပင် သတ်မှတ် ခြင်းမခံရပါ။ အချို့သောထုံးတမ်းဓလေ့တွင် ‘’တရားမဝင်သောသားသမီး’’ ဟု ခေါ်ဝေါ်သည်။ မျောက်မထား၍ရသောသား (bastard) သည်၊ ... တရား၊ ၂၃:၂တစ်ကျွန်းတစ်နိုင်ငံသား(bastard) တို့သည်၊ ... ဇာ၊ ၉:၆မင်းဦး မင်းလွင်ရသောသား(bastard) ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ... ဟေဗြဲ၊ ၁၂:၈
