kásánEnglishhandle typeThis is the type of handle that crosses over the object it is attached to, like a saucepan with a handle attached at opposite sides or the sling-like handle of a bilum or basket. On the keke basket, the kásán includes the sling underneath it as well (see also biring). The other type of handle is called busán.
