MaireiaMotumailaia: bringMotu, Motuan people, traders from Central Province. As the Motuans had bigger canoes, they would travel to Gulf and bring cargo for trading, the Kope word for those people comes from the Motu word for bring 'mailaia' as they were the bringers of goods.
