Probably a distinction was necessary between the names of the new type of filled commercial bags and the old and familiar small bags (khao). This probably led to the adoption of the Bangali "bhora" /bʰora/ as "bora" (dropping the aspiration because aspirated sounds are absent in most Tibeto-Burman native sound systems) and "bora khao" (literally meaning "filled bag").n1লীমোনগুম্বা চবৌ চবৌবা পোৎ নত্রগা অকনবা চে, প্লাষ্টিক্কুম্বনা শাবা, য়াম, অলু, তীলহৌনচিংবা পোৎ হাপ্লগা থম্নবা নত্রগা পুনবা মপান্দবা অচৌবা খাউ শাবদা শীজিন্নবা ফিদৌনা লোনবা পোৎ; অসিগুম্বা পোৎনা শাবা খাউ ওইনদি শীজিননদবা, খূদম ওইনা অচোৎপা লৈমায়দা থানবা, খাউa cloth like woven material of strong rough material such as jute or strong paper or plastic, used for making a large bag for storing and carrying, for example flour, onion, potato, etc.; a bag made of such material not used as a bag but for other purposes such as spreading on the wet floorsack2লীমোনগুম্বা চবৌ চবৌবা পোৎ নত্রগা অকনবা চে, প্লাষ্টিক্কুম্বনা শাবা, য়াম, অলু, তীলহৌনচিংবা পোৎ হাপ্লগা থম্নবা নত্রগা পুনবা মপান্দবা অচৌবা খাউa large bag with no handles, made of strong rough material such as jute or strong paper or plastic, used for storing and carrying, for example flour, onion, potato, etc.sackবোরা খাউcomp.Ban.ভরা/bʰora/ filled; to fillrelated with Hin.भरा/bʰəra/ filled+ Man.
