Foreword

The Mapun language has been developed in written form over several years. It is our hope that a dictionary and other literature in the language will help preserve the language for many years to come. The language is a reflection of the culture. We hope that the speakers of Mapun will continue to read and write it, because it is a valuable part of their heritage.
