holon 1n A belt. Ka bagakis holon no ogsapiron no bulbul to kuddò no ogpaniyukon to mgo bali-og. A bagakis is a belt which is braided from horse hair which is decorated (lt. pierced) with beads. 2v A partial payment or deposit which is used to hold some item so that it will not be sold to someone else. Ko konò pad og-anak ka babuy, ogbogoy kad to salapì agad botak pad, maganangon to igholon no ogbakus to ig-indan to bakotin. When a pig has not yet given birth, you give some money, even one half to start with, signifying that it is a deposit to hold the piglet you have reserved. see fr.: bakos.

hongalos v To breath heavily as when out of breath Ka otow, oghongalos ko ogkaboloy. People breathe heavily when they are tired. [Animals such as the carabao (water buffalo), horses and cows also are said to oghongalos “breathe heavily” when tired.]

[In traditional Ata Manobo culture, guests were not called until the food is already served out on a winnowing tray or leaves. ] see fr.: ho-un 1; see fr.: dat-ag. 5vs To pick up everything and everybody and leave a village at the same time Ogka-agkapan ka og-ugpò to sikan no ugpa-an; ogkohonat ka tibò no oghalin su du-on igkahallok. Ko ogkohon-at, ogdorongan ka tibò no og-awò. The people living in that place feel unsafe; they will pick up everything and move because something is making them afraid. If they pick up and leave, everyone will leave at the same time. Sikan ian nohonat on ka pog-ugpò to sikan to Mansalinao su nanhalin on diò to Maambago su nighimu to iam no landingan. That's why they packed up and left Mansalinao because they were moving to Maambago because they had made a new airstrip. Di konon samuk ka pogkohonat to pog-ugpò. But their packing up and leaving was not due to trouble.
