The word /tor/ 'when' refers to a time in the past. The postpositional temporal adverbs are: car, qie, tor 'when, while'; xilmeir leil 'before'; ho 'after'; seir 'yet'; ngaseir 'just', 'recently'. Other temporal constructions are located, most often, at the beginning of the clause.
