The work of demons is to cause people to do evil, such as to break the social norms of the people. People can be entered by or controlled by demon(s). They normally don't know that demons were angels who were expelled from heaven along with Satan. 'Meliwanen' is just one class of bad spirits that the Pelawano must deal with daily (see World View information on "Powers That Be"). Some of the other less malign spirits are even thought to be good and helpful. However the 'meliwanan' are always evil, and the strongest.synmereraatsiminlebtaw't kekeyuan2
